Utility Pipeline

Two small, honest tools that run entirely on your device

Tidy a messy CSV without it ever leaving your browser, and work the real math of an options spread. Nothing is uploaded. No tracking is attached to your data.

CSV Tidier

Paste or drop a CSV. It's parsed in your browser with a proper parser, so quoted commas and amounts like "Smith, John" or "1,234.50" stay in one piece. You get clean, header-keyed records back — ready to copy or download.

Options Spread Explainer

Educational only — not financial advice. This works the standard math of a defined-risk vertical spread. It gives no buy/sell signal, holds no funds and places no trades.

New to these? Read the plain-English options strategy guides (spreads, covered calls, cash-secured puts, iron condors, the wheel).

Questions

Is my data uploaded anywhere?

No. Your CSV is parsed in this page, in memory. It is never sent to a server, and — unlike a lot of "pipeline" code — no identifiers, source domains or tracking tags are ever attached to your rows. Close the tab and it's gone.

Is the spread calculator advice?

No. It computes the defined-risk math every options educator uses: spread width, maximum loss, maximum profit and breakeven. It never tells you whether to open a position, and it can't place one.

Why does it ask for the net premium?

Because a spread's maximum loss and breakeven depend on what you paid or received, not on the strikes alone. Width × 100 is only the spread's dollar width. Without a premium, this tool shows the width and tells you what else it needs — it won't print a breakeven it can't actually know.
